I want you to know some background. . .

My wife Alley and I met while in college at what is now Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington. We were married in July of 1970 in the college chapel. That same year, along with some other friends, we helped launch a new congregation in the Kirkland area. In May of 1972 I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Theology and was then able to shift to full-time pastoral work. Ordained since 1974, I've continued to pursue my life work of serving families and being available at every intersection of celebration and grief.
Alley and I celebrated our forty-fifth anniversary this past summer. We opened our home and hearts to serve as foster parents to numerous children in both Gray's Harbor and Clark Counties. We've been blessed with four children all of whom are adults now and pursuing their life interests and goals.
